At Biofarma Group, we firmly believe that professional equality between women and men is essential to building a fair and inclusive company. This is why, each year, we measure and track our progress on pay equality in France through the Gender Equality Index.
In France, the Gender Equality Index is mandatory and measures pay inequalities to eliminate unjustified pay gaps between women and men.
For 2024, we are proud to report a score of 93/100 for our L’Herbergement plant, a result that reflects our ongoing efforts to reduce inequalities and provide a fair working environment. Here are the details of our index for this year:
Pay gap between women and men: 38/40
Gap in individual salary increases between women and men: 35/40
Percentage of female employees receiving a raise upon returning from maternity leave: 15/15
Number of underrepresented gender employees among the top 10 highest-paid employees: 5/10
We are aware that perfect equality is a long-term goal. The 93/100 score we achieved in France reflects the progress made, but we remain fully committed to continuing our efforts to further reduce existing gaps. This result motivates us to strengthen our initiatives and develop new actions to promote equal opportunities within the company.
